International House is a certifiably nutty music and comedy review that simultaneously spoofs Grand Hotel and predicts the invention of television! Really, it’s just an excuse to bring together some of the ‘30s top entertainers including W.C. Fields, Burns & Allen, Bela Lugosi, Rudy Vallee, and Cab Calloway, who sings “Reefer Man.” Paramount’s top stars, W.C. Fields and Bing Crosby, are teamed up in the delightful musical comedy romp set on a riverboat, Mississippi, with songs by Rodgers and Hart. Two films for one admission price.
