When a wealthy politician causes a hit-and-run accident, he persuades his driver to take the fall and go to prison. While away, the driver’s wife’s indiscretions become a heavy burden for the couple’s brooding teenaged son, who keeps the secrets from his father. From the opening through its riveting finale, Three Monkeys is a beautifully photographed psychological drama.
