(program running time: 80 min.)
This program showcases the results of a new collaborative project between the Eastman School of Music and George Eastman House. Six Eastman School of Music composition students were presented with an eclectic selection of films from the George Eastman House collections and asked to write new scores for them. Using a small chamber ensemble, they will present their results live, for the first time, in the Dryden Theatre. The selections range from silent comedies to meditative nature films, and more.
