(David Gordon Green, US 2007, 107 min.)
Adapting Stewart O’Nan’s novel, screenwriter-director Green tells two converging stories of love and loss. A married but separated couple, Glenn and Annie (Sam Rockwell and Kate Beckinsale), face the future after tragedy strikes. Meanwhile, teenaged Arthur (Michael Angarano) awkwardly begins his first romance with classmate Lila (Olivia Thirlby), while dealing with the separation of his own parents. Director Green and his producing partner Lisa Muskat will introduce this special sneak preview of one of the most acclaimed films of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, and answer questions following the screening.
