On the final weekend of operations at the supposedly haunted Yankee Pedlar Inn, and the amateur ghost hunters on desk duty (Sarah Paxton and Pat Healy) are determined to crack its supernatural secrets before the last guest checks out. West’s follow-up to his acclaimed The House of the Devil shows him to be as adept at classical scare scenes as he is at character development, a task made all the easier by his superb cast.
