Reunited with his Annie Hall co-star Diane Keaton and revisiting a subplot wisely dropped from that film, Woody Allen delivers a crafty, witty, and typically neurotic update on the fast-talking, hard-drinking Thin Man tradition. Keaton believes that a neighbor has murdered his wife; Allen is skeptical and sympathetic (to the murderer). Dig out the magnifying glass and fingerprint kit you ordered from the back of the comic book and join this nutty couple in their amateur sleuthing. Alan Alda and Anjelica Huston co-star.
