(Edward Sedgwick, US 1928, 70 min.)
In what is widely thought of as his final masterpiece, Buster Keaton stars as an ambitious newsreel cameraman involved in a series of movie-related hijinks. Featuring some of his most praised setpieces and outlandish stunts, this silent comedy classic is also perhaps Keaton’s most personal love letter to cinema. Preceded by the terrific Keaton short, NEIGHBORS (US 1920, 20 min.). Live piano by Philip C. Carli.
